Interested in serving?
The Arc of Bismarck is looking for people who want to do more than attend meetings. We need board members who are ready to help shape policy, support organizational growth, and advocate for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community.

Right now, we have openings for people with backgrounds in:
-
Nonprofit governance or organizational leadership
-
Fundraising, development, or grant writing
-
Law, finance, or accounting
-
Healthcare, social work, or human services
-
Business, marketing, or communications
-
Disability services or lived experience in the IDD community

What board service looks like: Board members serve three-year terms and meet at least every other month. You don't need to be an expert in disability policy — you need to be reliable, engaged, and willing to show up for the work.

How to apply: Download the application below; it includes everything you need to get started. If you have questions before applying, reach out — we're happy to talk through what board service involves.

The Arc of Bismarck is committed to board diversity and strongly encourages applications from people with disabilities, individuals with lived experience in the IDD community, and people from all backgrounds.
